For this review of the BMW i3, we've replaced normal car reviewers with Tested nerds. Let's see if they notice.
Stay for the quotable blurbs at the end.
"I want to puke. It's a very bouncy car."

Pretty sure the term "frunk" has been around way longer than these new electric cars have been...

I skipped through the review some. But I did watch them try and use the nav system (around the 12min mark), it looked the the driver trying to use it was staring down away from the road forever.

They certainly are ugly cars.

After watching the whole video, I think the i3 really leaves a lot to be desired. Also, I would really want to see an enthusiast drive it and give a better opinion on the suspension feel, because if theyre saying its really bouncy, sports cars arent really bouncy.
Just reinforces my opinions on the tires. It may be able to brake safely, but I would absolutely love to see it do the Moose Test, and wet and slippery braking tests. A 155/70 tire may be wide enough to stop safely, but lets put an inexperienced driver behind the wheel to determine what the real world characteristics are. All the i3 drivers Ive spoken to are too busy telling me how theyre saving the world to tell me how the car handles. I dont care about how it has no B pillar and a baby seat fits in it, tell me about driving it, and I dont mean how quiet it is, or how the regen means you dont have to brake as much in traffic.
Also, ditto on the nav entry. Terrible system for a driver, could absolutely cause a huge accident because theyre not paying attention.
Why is it so difficult?

Yes.. I'd always go for the widest tires when they were available. 13s and 14s need what they can.
The first one to figure out an affordable hybrid sports-car may have it. I'd get that GTi Diesel VW if they had it in the US, power-weight ratio makes a lot of things easier, and why I keep passing on that 1982 diesel that gets 50. Besides the velour interior, of course..
